Morelia, Mich, 11 de abril de 2024.- Como parte de las acciones de prevención implementadas para reducir incendios forestales en el estado, la Comisión Forestal de Michoacán (Cofom) utiliza drones para detectar puntos de calor y evitar siniestros.
En esta temporada de estiaje el uso de drones ha permitido distinguir más rápido los puntos de calor durante los incendios forestales que se registran en algunas regiones del estado, lo que ha contribuido a apagar 372 conflagraciones.
Son 15 drones los que se distribuyen en 10 delegaciones para realizar diversas misiones con labores de apoyo para los brigadistas, lo cual les facilita realizar las tareas de combate.
Estas aeronaves no tripuladas tienen la capacidad de elevarse hasta 500 metros de altura y volar cruzando de un punto a otro dependiendo de las condiciones del terreno, hasta nueve kilómetros de distancia.
Además, en tierra participan 123 brigadas con mil 230 combatientes, donde intervienen los gobiernos estatal y federal, ayuntamientos, comunidades autónomas y voluntarios.
Por otra parte, el sistema de vigilancia satelital Guardián Forestal ha sido fundamental para mantener el monitoreo de las áreas afectadas por incendios, lo cual ayudará a agilizar en recaudar imágenes fotográficas para presentar las denuncias correspondientes ante la Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) en sitios donde se ha deforestado, incendiado o realizado el cambio ilegal de uso de suelo.
La estrategia de combate a incendios forestales es encabezada por la Comisión Nacional Forestal (Conafor), Comisión Forestal del Estado (Cofom), Secretaría de Medio Ambiente (Secma), Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (Conanp), Protección Civil Estatal, Servicios Áereos de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública (SSP), Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), Guardia Nacional y los gobiernos municipales.

Acapulco, Gro, 10 de abril de 2024.- Aeroméxico regresa con su vuelo directo a Morelia desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez de la Ciudad de México (AICM) el próximo 20 de junio, anunció la Secretaría de Turismo de Michoacán (Sectur).
Lo anterior apoyará para fortalecer la conectividad aérea entre Ciudad de México y la capital michoacana, con el Aeropuerto Internacional Francisco J. Mujica.
Derivado de las gestiones del Gobierno de Michoacán, a través de la Secretaría de Turismo del estado, se logró esta acción que beneficiará la cercanía y afluencia de turistas y visitantes nacionales y extranjeros que llegan a la capital del país, para que se encuentren más cerca de “El alma de México”.
Esta acción también fortalecerá la economía de la región, explicó la Sectur en el marco de la edición 48 del Tianguis Turístico de Acapulco, que se desarrolla hasta el próximo viernes 12 de abril.

En este servicio, los usuarios reciben una evaluación general con el fin de conocer su peso, talla, presión arterial y niveles de azúcar, para identificar el riesgo que tienen de desarrollar obesidad, hipertensión y diabetes, para prevenirlas a través planes alimenticios como la dieta de la milpa y el plato del bien comer, junto con sesiones de actividad física.
En caso de ser necesario los pacientes pueden unirse a uno de los grupos de ayuda mutua disponibles en los centros de salud de Morelia, Pátzcuaro, Uruapan, Zitácuaro, Apatzingán y Zamora, donde los integrantes realizan ejercicio, reciben controles médicos y participan en actividades recreativas con nutriólogos, enfermeras y entrenadores físicos.
Los padres y madres de familia preocupados por la alimentación de sus hijas e hijos pueden solicitar asesoría nutricional sin costo de lunes a viernes de 08:00 a 20:00 horas, con solo presentar dos copias de identificación oficial con fotografía y de la Clave Única de Registro de Población (CURP).

UMSNH en conjunto con Santander Universidades lanzan la APP “Campus Digital” dirigida al alumnado nicolaita

Morelia, Mich, 8 de abril de 2024.- Durante el lanzamiento de la APP “Campus Digital” por parte de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) y de Santander Universidades, la rectora Yarabí Ávila González, afirmó que la aspiración es tener una institución moderna y digital.
Acompañada por el director general adjunto de Santander Universidades México, Jaime Valls Esponda, dieron a conocer esta nueva aplicación que tendrá un impacto directo en el alumnado nicolaita.
En este marco, la rectora agradeció al banco Santander por el respaldo que le ha dado a la UMSNH y precisó que la aplicación no solamente permitirá tener acceso a trámites administrativos, también facilitará que las y los estudiantes tengan a su alcance información, que es un derecho humano.
“Nosotros aspiramos a una Universidad Michoacana que sea una institución moderna, que sea una institución digital, que esté conectada no solamente en el interior de la propia Universidad sino al exterior, que tenga estas oportunidades de becas, de prácticas profesionales, de servicio social y la vinculación con el mercado laboral”.
La rectora afirmó que la UMSNH es puntera en la calidad académica, posicionada entre las 100 mejores de América Latina y entre las 10 mejores de México, pero consideró que hace falta mucho por hacer y en este sentido subrayó la importancia de generar alianzas estratégicas.
Reconoció la trayectoria del director Jaime Valls y reiteró su satisfacción por recibir a las y los representantes del banco Santander, que dijo, mantiene un compromiso firme con el progreso y con el crecimiento inclusivo, sostenible y académico, de igual forma resaltó el apoyo que brinda a las universidades, apostando a la educación.
Agregó que el respaldo que Santander seguirá dando a la Universidad Michoacana, genera un mayor compromiso de promover la educación de calidad y profesionistas que al egresar sean efectivamente lo que los sectores empresariales requieren.
En su turno, el director general adjunto de Santander Universidades México, Jaime Valls Esponda saludó la presencia de la rectora Yarabí Ávila y manifestó que es un honor estar en la UMSNH, indicó que, como parte de la responsabilidad social del banco ha estado relacionada al tema de la educación superior durante más de 25 años.
Precisó que la aplicación “Campus Digital”, es una herramienta tecnológica muy importante, que va a ir evolucionando, la cual ya la pueden descargar en su celular las y los alumnos. Comentó que en una primera etapa la credencial digital está dirigida al estudiantado y posteriormente será para docentes y administrativos.
Celebró que la Universidad Michoacana ya cuente con esta aplicación, que dijo, puede ser una canal de comunicación donde se informe a la comunidad universitaria, tras destacar que es un medio seguro.
Valls señaló que la aplicación permitirá posteriormente que el alumnado pueda consultar sus calificaciones, realizar pagos, y contar con información precisa referente a becas a través del canal Open Academy, por mencionar algunas características, y por otro lado también se visualiza la parte de los servicios financieros.
En su turno, el director de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de la UMSNH, Francisco Octavio Aparicio Contreras, enfatizó en el esfuerzo tecnológico que se ha hecho entre Santander Universidades y la Casa de Hidalgo.
Apuntó que se está cumpliendo con la indicación de la rectora de transformar la UMSNH. “Construyendo alianzas como la que hoy materializamos con Santander, una institución que cumple a cabalidad con la responsabilidad social y que la pone al servicio aquí en Michoacán en manos de más de 50,000 jóvenes”.
Precisó que durante seis meses se puso toda la energía para validar este proyecto, que será muy útil para el estudiantado, y de manera inédita esta aplicación es la primera en su género en la Universidad Michoacana, lo que contribuirá como soporte al Sistema Integral de Información Administrativa (SIIA).
Durante el evento también se contó con la presencia por parte de Santander Universidades de la gerente “Campus Digital”, Alejandra Castaño Villanueva; de la directora de Zona Instituciones, Idalia Reséndiz Moran; de José Arturo Ávalos, ejecutivo Seniors y de Rafael Cortés Armendáriz, gerente de Comunicaciones Universitarias, así como de integrantes del gabinete nicolaita.

En el marco del regreso a las aulas tras el periodo vacacional de Semana Santa, alumnas y alumnos de subsistemas, institutos tecnológicos descentralizados y universidades tecnológicas y politécnicas, de diversas regiones del estado, tuvieron la oportunidad de aplicar conocimientos adquiridos en sus clases de ciencias, así como reconocer y compartir la importancia de la investigación y la exploración del cosmos.
El Instituto de Educación Media Superior y Superior del Estado de Michoacán (Iemsysem) celebra que las y los estudiantes pudieran presenciar un eclipse solar desde sus instituciones educativas, ya que sirve como una valiosa experiencia de aprendizaje práctico, ante la presencia de este evento astronómico, el cual se repetirá hasta el año 2052.
